We had some special guests during the last series:
*On July 15, Massage by Pat, a NYS Licensed Massage Therapist! Three-minute chair massages for $3. All proceeds to benefit The Committee to Improve Carroll Park.
* On July 29, Be a Brooklyn Reader: Summer Reading at your Local Library! The Carroll Park Branch, Brooklyn Public Library, was on hand to inspire us all with information about summer reading and library programs and services.
* On August 8, Sharon Ng of Lango offered temporary tatoos of the Chinese characters for love, friendship and strength. New to Brooklyn, but a hit with families in San Francisco, Lango is an innovative, full-immersion foreign language program that teaches Spanish, French and Mandarin Chinese to young children ages 1 – 7.
We Need Your Help!
Ever wanted to work in a circus? Now is your chance.
Please join us for some fun activities to help make our concerts a success. It would be great to have 3-4 volunteers for each concert – of course you can bring your children along to help and have fun.
We need:
• Volunteers dedicated to specific activities (food or crafts), from 3:30-5:30 on any (or all) show days
• Amateur videographer willing to film short videos to publish on our website.
Any and all volunteer assistance would be greatly appreciated. The concerts rely on the community, there are NO paid employees.
